Do you want to work effectively with your care providers to create a positive birth experience in any setting?

I provide evidence-based, independent childbirth classes for women and their partners. My class emphasizes self-care, labor support and informed decision-making. Whatever type of birth you are preparing for, independent childbirth classes will give you the information you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your baby.

  • your rights as a health care consumer in the context of labor and birth
  • details, risks and benefits of common birth interventions
  • how to open dialogue with your care providers
